  3. Membership Update:  We are currently at 101 members with 18 new golfers. The Wednesday rounds fill up fast so signup quickly, as a reminder you can sign up in advance for rounds using the portal on our website.
  4. Schedule: The complete 2026 schedule is complete and on our website.
  5. Resort Golf Shop Open House: There will be an open house for the newly remodeled Resort Course Golf Shop on May 29th from 4 to 7.  The event will feature, food, live music and more. Details to follow.
  6. Advisory Committee Highlights: Quarterly, a group of board members meet with Ron Buerger and Kevin Story. Here are the highlights from the Q2 meeting.
    1.  We expressed appreciation for the work done on the courses over the winter and the new carts.
    2. Major course projects for the year include finishing the cart paths on the Ridge course, seal coating those on the Resort Course, landscaping the pond area near number 8 green on the Resort Course and irrigation upgrades.
    3. We discussed pace of play concerns in the men’s club and asked for suggestions. Suggestions included pace of play times on the score cards, more aggressive marshalling and identifying and “pace of play captain” to monitor the pace for each group.
    4. Ron indicated that the goal for the length of the rough on the courses will be to return to the 2024 length. We suggested the baskets on bottom of the flag sticks be installed on all 54 holes. Ron is looking into this.
    5. We discussed the process for setting the prices for season passes and agreed that more information will be shared in the near future.
    6. Ron shared the criteria for reciprocal arrangements with other courses. Those include courses not nearby (Widgi Creek is the closest) and the willingness of other courses to participate.
    7. Golf staff will continue to support our major events like the Eagle Crest Cup and various Men’s Club Championships.
    8. Kevin shared that there will be an evening league event this summer, information to follow.
    9. Kevin also shared about PGA Hope activities for teaching Veterans to golf that will be happing at Eagle Crest. This is a great charity supporting veterans in Central Oregon. More information will follow on these activities as well.
