Scott Jones shot a great gross score of 36 on the front nine of the Ridge course and then easily cruised on to the ECMGC Net match play championship title. Ron Cox shot a very solid round but could not overcome Scott’s strong front nine.
This wraps up another Match Play championship. We finished the entire event in just 4 weeks and will be handing out more than $ 2,300 of prize money. Attached are the final results docs for the Net Match Play Championship. I am also adding a document that everyone should look at. It contains the final payouts and Niblicks’ points distribution for all competing in the tournament.
A big shout-out to the tournament committee, who put together this event. This includes Mike Corwin, who drove this from start to finish and completed it in record time using a format that worked very well. Another strong contributor to this and every event is our money man, Dave Miller, who keeps the money on budget and balanced. Next time, let’s help him out some and get our money in before the event starts.

About Golf Genius Portal for the 2026 Match Play
Due to constraints in the Golf Genius tournament management software for handling our Round Robin “Pool Play” and lead into the full Match Play, we had to set up a separate 2026 League just for managing the Match Play Tournament.
This means there is a separate Golf Genius Portal just for the Match Play.
