Men’s Club Update and reminders.

1. Cancellations: While we hope to avoid cancellations as they can disrupt the weekly tournament scoring, sometimes they happen. No fee is due if a player cancels before the round. Once you tee off your entry is due and is non-refundable.
2. Scorecards: Each group receives two scorecards for the round. At the end of the round, please compare and reconcile the two cards. One card goes back in the pouch, so our treasurer knows who has paid (like checking off the names on the play list on the old format) the other card does not go in the pouch but is given to the person doing the scoring for the week. (If they aren’t available when you finish give the card to the desk or a player who is waiting around.) Please do not put both cards in the pouch.
3. Weekly tee sheets: The scoring committee will send out pairing sheets prior to each round. Monday you will receive an initial sheet and Tuesday you will receive the final pairings. Saturday you will receive a roster of those who have signed up for the coming week’s event.
4. Home and Homes: We have three home and home events coming up in the next few weeks, all at Eagle Crest. A reminder that it is important to sign up early for these events. The first Home and Home with Crooked River Ranch has reached its capacity of 36 golfers, and we are starting a waitlist.
5. Membership: As of this week, we have 75 members with a few new ones and a few who have not returned for the summer to be added. If you have not renewed your membership and plan to join, please do so soon or you will no longer receive club communications.
