Dates: January 28th through the first week of March, you need to be available to play during this time frame. There will be flexibility with the exact dates of play.
Format: The tournament will be a single elimination or “knockout” format. The game will be 2-man teams playing a best ball match play format for 18 holes like the Ryder Cup. If we get enough entries the tournament will be flighted. GHIN handicaps will be used. You are encouraged to choose your partner for the event. You may enter as a single and I will try to match you with another single with a similar index.
Cost/payout: This is a cash tournament, and no pro shop credits will be awarded. The suggested cost is $10 per match that you play. For each match players put in $10 (or an amount of your choice). The winners get the money and advance to the next round. For round two, repeat round one process.
When: The first round of matches will be scheduled the week of January 26th with subsequent matches scheduled when they work. We’ll use Men’s Club days where possible.
